Have a good trip Dave; good weather. My kids used to make fun of me because I often had torrential rain whenever I went camping.

Got in a 2-1/2 mile hike this morning. This is 4 days in a row. Started at 60° and ended at 70°— great for hiking. Lots of birds singing along the way.

I’m planning on camping again this weekend for 3-4 days, near DD’s summer home in Maine near the coast. Much cooler than here usually, where it will be 90 for a stretch of time.

    Have a great day everyone.

    Good morning!

    Have fun camping, Dave!

Mike, that's awesome about your hikes.

Storming here in Kansas. The heat and humidity are crazy here. We have had dew points approaching 80 which is miserable on the scale. We will have at least two more weeks of the heat without a break. Connie and I were in Hobby Lobby on Saturday where they have all their Autumn and Halloween stuff out, along with a sprinkle of Christmas. I don't like to rush seasons, but we need a break in this heat!

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning,

News is predicting heat index of up to 115 for this side of state this afternoon, that's too hot even for convertible or motor scooter.

Took DW to doctor this morning, now time for me to head to physical torcher.

Enjoy camping folks you are better men than I am, I got my fill back in early 70's with Uncle Sam.

    Safe travels Lee.

    Good Morning

Glad to see you are getting the hikes in Mike. Keep it going.

Cool cloudy days this week. I'm beginning to spend time in the yard working pruning and watering. Though I'm careful posture wise there is a point where I have to stop and sit a bit and venture forth. But I am thankful I can do more and recover quickly. I haven't taken a tylenol in a while, not to mention a pain or muscle relaxer. I am thankful. I haven't been walking due to the yard, so today I may try and make it to the small local Episcopal Church. They have a small prayer garden and a labyrinth here I can go to find solitude and pray. PT seems to be paying off as I am beginning to be able to do more without consequences. The hardest part is being patient, knowing it is a long journey to get to where ever I am going.
