    Waving as a drive by. 14 hour day yesterday. Another 12 hour staring me in the face today. With luck, out early tomorrow.

    Its almost better when you see the long shifts coming rather than just find yourself working late.

    Leo is all patched up and the scratching is getting better. In another day or so, he should be back to licking himself recreationally instead of for relief.

    Morning gang

    Had a telehealth appointment yesterday and she was less than helpful and recommended urgent care. So made an appointment there and spent the next 5 hours driving, waiting, driving waiting for appointment and Rx. Got an antibiotic shot and pill. Diagnosis was UTI with likely migration to kidneys. I'm to go to the hospital if fever gets above 100.

    I was going to treat myself to a butterfingers blizzard for the pain and suffering and there is NO DQ in Bakersfield. Crazy it's a pretty big city. Seems like a void. I'm actually surprised there isn't one on Tehachapi which is the middle sized town we grocery shop in.
