Good morning!
Hot and humid again in Kansas City. This heat/humidity wave is supposed to start breaking tomorrow with more storms and potential flooding. I am more than ready for this to be past us.
Not a lot going on today because of the heat. I plan to have some good chair time today with a few in-house type chores and projects.
Have a great day!

Mornin' gents.
In Colorado with M. High 80's here, but very dry. Sweat just evaporates as it is produced. Much more tolerable than Florida.
DGS is awesome. DS#1 and DDIL are a little stressed out with their jobs and DS#1's looming deployment. Glad we are here for DDIL and DGS.
Hearing test (per M's insistence before buying hearing aids) and then hearing aids no matter the results of test. I have tinnitis and hearing loss. No doubt I need hearing aids. It'll happen at a local SAM's.
Onward and downward ;-)

Good morning gentlemen.
Getting ready for another hiking adventure. This time another favorite trail in Mt. Rainier N.P. This one is steep and in the trees much of the way, which keeps the crowds away, then breaks open to glorious views and meadows.
Sassy did well at her appointment. She likes her vet, but not the office. She needs to drop a few pounds, just like me.
I'm glad I can get hearing aids from the VA. I have one more year on the ones I have before I can get a new set.

Good Morning
I decided to bake some bread yesterday and try a dutch crunch roll recipe I saw earlier this month. I don't do much baking the last couple of years since it was all packed away and stored when we remodeled and then delayed our move for a year. Being on Keto doesn't motivate my baking either. It was a more involved process then normal but I enjoyed it. I tried a 1" piece. Rusty skills showed with the dough being a bit too slack but the taste and the crumb were spot on, just not the shape. A bit more gardening today and cleaning. We have Farmers Market this afternoon and then home to grill some strip steaks in the PM. Life is good!

Rainier N.P. is a great place. Have fun Dave.
I got some free yellow plums from a nice lady near a wetland trail. DW made a wonderful Yellow Plum Crumble from it and cut into bars. YUM
Yum Bill strip steaks sound great.
Great hearing aids are worth the effort for me.
Cheers

Good Afternoon,
Continues HOT and HUMID, under severe weather warning due to heat through Wednesday.
Tomorrow will be last physical torture on shoulder, doctor's report says healing and no further PT required.
Joanne's open wound is healing, hoping in about 3 weeks will be able to begin radiation. She is also feeling better and beginning to do things around house such as unloading dishwasher and swiffering floors, paying bills.
I may start cutting our own yard.
London broil for supper tonight DW put it in marinade yesterday with baked potato and Greek salad
Need to pick up prescriptions before I start cooking
