    You guys are talking about elves to go with Dave's Santa beard and just like that we get our own elf in the group.

    Welcome @Elf31 - It's never too late to join. We are a very easy going group. The only request we have is that each time you post your miles, can you please also post the total for the month. That way I don't have to do the math hahaha!

    I'm in New York City helping my son look for an apartment and I have walked all over creation. I walked over 20,000 steps each of the past two days but I only counted 6 miles in total so I'll have to stick with that.

    @JTH11706 haha, sorry about that. 20,000 steps is easy to do when searching for apartments/something good to eat/etc in NYC.

    @Dave:I have a dumb question. Is there some reason why my overall total miles on the stats page are frozen at 19? I think Janet’s are not correct either.

    @CLEPANT - Not a dumb question at all and thank you for asking it!! There's a simple explanation and I've fixed it already! 😀 Somehow somebody's miles were accidentally typed in those cells and overwrote the formula. I'm pretty sure it was me and I didn't notice it. My Google Sheets has been acting weird lately when I first open it up. It thinks the cells are in a different place. I have to remember to zoom out and then back in (or vice versa) to correct it. It's a little annoying. I'll keep a better lookout on that!

    I am adding 15.16 miles to my existing 16.12 miles giving me a total of 31.28 miles so far.

    Aug. 13: 5.5 miles walking. The bad news is that I got poison Ivy for the second time this summer.,The good news is that we finally got rain tonight for the first time in 14 days, Everything wa turning into crispy crunch.

    @CHRIS - LOL! 😂 It's still doing it as of today and I don't know why! I put in a ticket with Google Sheets, but nothing yet. Maybe when the final public release version of macOS 26 comes out it'll work correctly from the git-go. 😀

    @CHAR - Sorry to hear you got into some poison ivy! Were you out in the boonies somewhere on a hike? And that's great to hear you finally got some much needed rain!

    @Dave:Din’t know where I got it. I am very observant of it and it is on my left foot just above my low shoe line. I am thinking it happened when we were turning our compost bins at our Master Gardener gardens. Two slide boards did not fit and fell out twice.one hit me in the shin and another right at the top of my foot where my shoe laces tie. Later that night when I showered it was getting itchy.

    I am one of those very fortunate people who don't react to poison ivy. Hope it's getting better @clepant Sounds horrible.

    Well we had 11 straight days of drought with a 1/4 inch of rain and now back to day 4 of no rain and 91° temps. Everything is dying up and maple trees are. going into pre fall change with leaves dropping. Looks like fall is here early without cooler temps.

    @JTH11706 turns out this is not the easiest tracking method for me. I appreciate you letting me try it out! Wish we could do it thru the app as I use my phone mostly, over a computer. You can remove me from the spreadsheet. Thank you again!
