    good morning. Busy day as usual.
    I’ve been doing a fantastic job fasting. Seeing the scale creep down. Up 10#. Down 10#.

    I got an NSV this weekend. A fellow trialer mentioned how much thinner I appeared. The dark side of the NSV is that I re-gained the weight in the first place, but it was encouraging.

    Hot and humid here. Glad work has AC.

    Good morning BBB friends

    Going to be a pleasant day today, with a high of 76. Rita has an appointment this morning, but I hope for some shop time later.

    The down side of hiking in the mountains in the summer: for several days afterwords I discover all the mosquito bites. I use repellant, but it sweats off. Amazing how they bite through socks and sweaty t-shirts. Pardon me while I stop to scratch.

    Very busy week……long days in office….long evenings, purging and prepping for movers tomorrow to come pack out / store stuff.

    Hired a few ousted colleagues from the Fed side - so putting pieces of the org puzzle together is finally starting to gain momentum. Now, to avoid a shutdown and pause on everything.

    Congrats on NSV, Doc!

    Lou - I'm on silent protest awaiting Astrologists to reaffirm PLUTO as a planet. I spend a good part of fourth grade memorizing: My Very Excited Mother Just Served Us New Pickles pheumonic. It just doesn't work without the pickles! #SMH!

    We have seen a tarantula wasp carting off her kill two days in a row. I didn't have my phone either time but if you google it you will get a very good image. Did not make for a good night's sleep.

    Heading to the hot tub now...while it is still cool out.

    We couldn’t see anything here in the skies, too much cloud coverage.

    Keep on scratching Dave. Do you shower with blue dawn? It’s supposed to help.

    So, the vet tech that we see was arrested for child porn. His charges are for beastiality too but not arrested YET. How sick is that?!

    Hotter than blazes here. DH has a cold coming on. Imagine that. Hanging around kids all day on a school. Oh. He found out that if he stays long enough he will have a 3rd retirement. He doesn’t plan on that but, he will get a nice check in 5 years.
