    Mornin' BBB

Yep, tracking works. Good job Lou and Steph.

I told a fellow sexagenarian veterinarian about my upcoming gig in Colorado Springs, he's retired, and he told me I was prostituting myself (I should retire and do volunteer work). I thought it was an odd comment, then I thought if it was true, then I'm just a Gigolo, right?

    Working this morning.

Insurance is very important even if it is a supplement, and if you enjoy what you are doing why not get paid. Nothing says you cannot do bono work on side. DW says when I retired, I took 5 parttime jobs; and enjoyed them till fall in 2023. Once DW is better may take a couple back.

Humidity 96% this morning but not expecting rain, highs in upper 80's.

Yard guy did not show up this week, need to get some stuff done.

    Good morning BBB friends

The comment goes beyond odd, Lee. It was just rude. I am with Sam, Insurance is important.

We had dinner at Texas Roadhouse last night. I tracked it, but that took me well into weeklies. Leftovers will last through the weekend, I think.

    Good morning!

sexagenarian ...a person who is 60 to 69 years old.I had to look up this word, lol.

Guest are gone fishing. Kid 15yr had a big northern bike on his spinner last night that got away. He's back after it.

Rain here this afternoon. Hopefully none back home, that area doesn't need more flooding.

They'll go to this cheese factory this afternoon. Their store there is amazing and prices are so cheap. No middle man! And who doesn't love cheese from Wisconsin!!

    WTG trackers/losers!!!

    Have a good day BBB

    Go Brewers💛💙

    Good morning BBB Friends.

    • I'm with Dave, your fellow sexagenarian was just plain rude. Your new neighbors in Monument / Colorado Springs will be happy to have you carrying for their precious pups. Just as your current clients will miss you.
    • And like Mary I had to look it up.
    • How 'bout them Brewers and the Mariners are not far behind.
    • How the bird watchers doing? Sound like you are a pretty quiet area. Will you be glad to get into a more social scene?
    • I imagine our NOVA buddy is getting Starbucks, a pup cup and a car wash.

    Morning gang

Bird Watching is going fine. The pigeons are super easy daily. Cleaning the coup is a bit of work but we only have to do it 3 times total. Hummingbirds is work too but Ron mostly takes care. There are 4 feeders and he fills on average of every 30 hours. I'm guessing 50 or so. The biggest work is all the watering. Many potted deck plants require daily watering with the heat and dry conditions.

But yes. I'm so ready to be in civilization again. It's a 25 minute drive to town...population 12,000. We went in yesterday to a brewery. Even the tiny town nearby is a 10 minute drive, gas station, 2 restaurants, salon and thats it. Probably should have made a bigger effort to make friends there.

    G'Evening

Long day packing/purging. Not sure where all this stuff comes from/came from. Much is from DMIL/DFIL's stuff. DW has been good about purging much of it. THOUGH we packed out nearly a full 18 wheeler yesterday. Ugh.

Got some needed rest and pool time today for a couple hours and nice dinner out with FORMER neighbors from old hood who just moved back to Northern VA.

Tomorrow is scrubbing garage floors and basement storage floors to get ready for upcoming open house (let's be clear, by scrubbing, I mean DN's coming to scrub.

Doc - I agree with Dennis. You'll be a great Critter FIxer asset to the CO community. We leave for Estes in a few days. Can't wait.

    Cheers,
