Little "discussion" with property management who sent my resale packet with TWO violations (unapproved modifications to my home) - 1. Sealed concrete on front porch; 2. Ceiling fan ligh on front porch. Politely told them to correct their letter and do their homework. BOTH were done by our builder. Fan was an option on delivery; sealant done to cover up stained concrete during our one year warranty. They said they would not reissue a letter but clear our account of violations.
Needless to say, I had a new letter in 90 minutes. HOA's! UGH!!!!!

Good morning BBB!It's a five day weekend for me! Woohoo!I sold something Dennis! Cant say when it'll ship/invoice but thats on them at HQAnother trip to the zoo today. This time with ds2, my dgs, and neice and her 2 kids. Im utilizing the membership more this year.Then it's off to the lake tonight til Monday. Lil T ds2, ddil will come Friday night.Fall like here thru weekend. 70s day, 50's at night.Why not hire both a house cleaner and gardener Lee!?My sweet 100 cherry tomatos are really producing!Bet its nice to see your family and friends back home Steph!Good luck on the home sale Skip!Kelly enjoy your last dipDennis enjoy some motor biking!Sam hopefully you and dw can relax with no appts for a few days!Lou and Leo stay out of trouble but have fun!0 -

- It's amazing how much of our BBB terminology comes from Sam.
- A sad day in Minneapolis yesterday. I am familiar with that neighborhood as it is close to Best Buy HQ which I visited numerous times.
- Congrats on the sale Mary.
- There comes a time in retirement where you realize you need a mindset change from saving mode to spending mode. It's tough because we are wired to save.

I actually forgot that Labor Day weekend was coming up - the life of a retiree.
I'm with you on not hiring people to do things I can do myself, Lee. Tough to accept that I can do less than I used to, though.

My problem with hiring someone to do something for me is they do not take the extra effort to do the best it can be done.
HOA has not cut area next to our house in over three weeks, yet they keep sending out letters about folks not keeping weeds out of lawns and beds. If they would keep weeds cut where they do not go to seed, it would be much easier for us to maintain lawn and beds.
RMD could have us broke if we live past 93 and spent all disbursements, not really but if real estate tanked also could cause some adjustment. Would like to die after spending last dime only issue is don't know when that will be.
Lou if you needed to poop in night you would get up and go; are you saying Leo is not entitled to relieve himself?
