    T&Ps for MN! Ugh……

    HOPEFUL for a short(er) day today. Dinner with military buddy tonight (with DWs).

    Staycation weekend at local Hilton to accommodate weekend of open house showings.

    Hard to believe summer went by so quickly.

    Good morning.

    Leo woke me at 330 this morning to poop. This better not become a pattern or I'll have to let him poop on the rug to reestablish dominance.

    To Sam's point, I get that when you gotta go, you gotta go, but our dynamic has been that he sleeps through the night and I have to wake him up to walk and feed him. Without Cecilia here, I cant even tap her in - which I totally would have given that I was up the night before with him.

    Speaking of, while I know the #SummerOfLou hasn't exactly been a rousing success, it has been extended another week. Platelet counts for Cecilia's mom were too low for her chemo treatment yesterday, so that added a lot of appointments next week that Cecilia's BIL can't really cover while working.

    Morning BBB

    Apparently Ive been terrible at checking in this week.

    Windshield isnt going to get repaired until we are back in November. Subaru is cheaper so will do it there, but they need all day and didn't have a loaner car for us. We will just schedule on the return. It hasn't grown since we left NM. So far not in Ron's sightline.

    We made it to Vernon TX yesterday. Thunderstorms diverted our route a bit and we bypassed OK city where we were going to spend a day. Now no real plan. Need to be in Houstin by Saturday to rent storage unit. With holiday traffic we plan to go a few house then stop for the day.

    I will never not have housekeeping again. I've already lined it up in Mexico. $25 week there. Not so in US but I like not having to spend my time sweeping/mopping, bathrooms and cleaning out the sink.

    Picking up a prescription this morning, then a little shop time in the afternoon.

    We plan to take Sassy with us to walk around the Wooden Boat Fest in Olympia tomorrow. No other plans for the holiday weekend.

    Put a drop of super glue at end of crack on windshield to help prevent it from spreading safe travels.

    • Okay Lou, I'm going to out on a limb and offer some K9 advice. A long walk before bedtime to induce desired pooping might help Leo sleep through the night. Keep in mind while I might know what to do does not mean I do it. I hear your concern about being a 'single' Dad. It is nice to be able to share the responsibility. It is good that that Cecilia can be there to help her Mom.
    • Speaking of K9s, how's the Critter Fixer doing? He's on his own too.
    • I hate selling real estate. Good luck this weekend Skip.

    • May the Midwest Ladies have a nice holiday weekend.
    • May the PNW get some rain to help with the fires.
    • Not much going on here. I have a Men's Retreat in St. Simons the following weekend.
