So I had a busy/fun day today! I had an easy day at work, which never happens and I left at 4:25. Came home and mowed the lawn and got the leaves up. Made some pumpkin bread for work tomorrow. Then finally carved my pumpkin and baked the pumpkin seeds! So tasty, but not the lowest in calories.

Im on a weeks annual leave, well at the end of it, back on Monday.

But ready for the period between now and Xmas and this challenge will keep me occupied and simulated.

Went for walk in Bushy park London the other day. It was beautiful.

Weather not so great today but good for tomrrow, planning a walk out.

Thinking of ideas of Prepping meals for my lunches next week. Had been eating packet noodles but just realised the sodium in them 😬😬.

Just had this delivered from Asda (walmart) I don't mind eating salads with some spicy.chicken but can be a little dry and im not overly keen on plain mayo.

This is a sweet chilli mayo. Although I know calories are on little (lot) high side im going to be eating it with salad.

All be in my calorie allowance.

@ashleycarole86 feel better soon! And thanks again for tracking all of the steps data, it really is inspiring 😊

@Alatariel75 welcome back! We all have setbacks sometimes, taking the first step back into healthier habits can be so hard, and you already accomplished that!

@cleaneater80 congratulations on the new job! I hope you enjoy it.

I agree with you @Gidgitgoescrzy , I love a chilly walk. I was able to convince 3 people to walk this week! They were shorter walks but I'm happy to have gotten outside for a bit each day.

Welcome @LisaMoxon155 ! Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos. I used to love eating packaged ramen but once I saw the sodium and calories I just can't justify eating them anymore. It's crazy to think I grew up eating thst stuff all the time!

@lauren_989 I love your pumpkin!! I was a big PokΓ©mon fan as a kid πŸ˜† I hope the migraines go away, they're awful.

Happy Halloween to those that celebrate! I'll be taking the kids trick or treating later, mostly for the experience, we'll be giving most of the candy to their older cousins. They do love chocolate though so I'll let them each have some of their hard earned chocolate πŸ˜† here's a photo of them in their Halloween PJs, once I have pictures of their costumes I'll share them! They both move so much it's hard to get a clear picture lol

This was a good week for me, I'm learning what carbs my body can tolerate and making changes to improve things. I managed to get outside for a walk 3 days this week. I'm a little bummed because Wednesday I was so close to meeting my step goal and having a 5 day streak, I meant to walk around the house after putting the kids to bed but I forgot and fell asleep πŸ˜… oops. Oh well, not that big of a deal. Maybe I'll have a 5 day streak in November.

@LisaMoxon155 glad you were able to find us! Those pictures from your walk were beautiful!

@strong_fit_ells you didn't fall off the wagon too hard though! Make one good choice tomorrow and go from there.

@jguldi11 your kids are adorable! We just got the candy out for the trick or treaters! Several people dressed up at work today, I will have to next year. I did wear orange and black though.

Thank you all for the welcomes back, I'm still trying to get back on track, but I'm committing to a November of wins. Whoops, almost types wines, and that's the opposite of the plan haha.

@lauren_989 starting weight is - UGH - 87.8kg. So annoyed with myself.

    Happy 1st of November everyone.

So im at end of my annual leave. I have been starting to make little mindfull changes. Grabbing fruit instead of the packet of crisps or thinking am I really hungry, can I wait two hours until tea time. As from Monday day im full in to my usual routine, which really helps with my eating patterns.

At work I used to have breakfast at 10am ish and then lunch 130pm to 2pm ish but by then I was really hungry and would then grab anything and probably over eat. I work in a carehome and they can provide lunch if needed but it is high calories foods and ingredients. It's for the residents to maintain weight not keep my weight down. So I started to take my own lunch eat but ate still at same times and I realised I was never satisfied with feeling full. So thought why don't I eat earlier?? Im a deputy manager so can eat when I want (or have a chance) so i started to eat at 1pm and it certainly made a difference. I didn't get that im 'starving ' feeling and then over eat.

Hope people don't mind me writing things like this as I think it helps me identify certain areas and maybe inturn get advice if needed it suggestions.

Ive added my weights for last three weeks as not sure what I put down as my starting weight.

    October 19th: 87.3kg

    Start of week annual leave:October:26th weight:84.9kg .(187.1lbs) loss 5.3lbs

End of annual leave 1st November:
    85.5kg (188.4lbs) plus 0.6kg (1.3lbs)

    Good luck everyone xx

Keep going. We all fall off the wagon at some point. Me too especially at TOTM.

@LisaMoxon155 that is a great idea to try new things, like timing of meals. That is perfect you are brining your own food as well! And this is exactly what this spot is for, writing what you are thinking!
