    Good morning!

Dropping Frankie off at Banfield at 8:45 this morning. I could maybe get the strings out of her claws, but she might eat me. She gets this really scared look in her eyes and tells me to stop. I believe that she has at least two cracked claws, which is how the string got caught in the middle of them. Banfield can give her a local if needed, and they have the knowledge to know if she needs the claws cut off, trimmed, taped, etc.

I'm not sure what else is going to happen today. I have some painting to do in the bathroom, and then I need to start prepping to go after the ceiling crack in the living room. It is still too hot to work outside. It is supposed to hit 90 every day now until Sunday. We are also very much in a drought now too.

I'm happy for Charlotte, and still praying for her, Joanne, and DMIL.

It is also good to hear that Dave is doing better, and hopefully Bill is doing better too.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

You might be hot, Steve, but we are well into autumn out here. Our furnace is running every night, now.

DGD lowered her time at yesterday's cross-country meet by almost two minutes. Great improvement. I'm proud of her. They didn't have things like cross country for 6th graders back in my day.

Got out in the shop yesterday and finished a natural edge walnut bowl. More shop time this morning.

Hope little Charlotte continues to get stronger and can go home, soon.

    Good Morning

Our cool wet weather continues. I admit I am rather enjoying this first wet stretch of the season. I seem to be finally improving. Head is clearing and energy is improving. Stomach is still a bit of a mess. I will make a push next week to get a referal to a Gastro Doc to see if they can get a better handle on what is happening and how to handle it beyond riding it out. I am off to the lab for blood work for next weeks check in the Urologist and all things prostate.

It is great to hear baby Charlotte is in the upswing and that she will be home soon. Prayers for Joanne continue.

Dave: No furnace on here just yet but close to turning it on yesterday morning. Just bundling up. We do need the rain.

Hoping I don't need to turn on the heat for another few days as it is suppose to warm up again over the weekend into next week. We'll see. Nice that your DGD lowered her time by a couple of minutes. 6th grade? We only had it at a local high school that wasn't my school.

Good luck Bill with all things tummy and prostate related.

Continued Ts and Ps for Joanne and Charlotte.

Down to 16 radiation treatments left.

Returned hearing aids today, now wait for them to reimburse insurance, told it will be about a week; then I'll order a good quality hearing aid instead of a cheap amplifier.

Charlotte still has a feeding tube where she does not eat enough on her own.

Glad sickies are on mend, hope Frankie's paws not too bad.
