Steps are low because I was sick and the weather has been damp, cold, cloudy, misting - weather is supposed to improve this weekend and I'm decorating for Christmas so lots of steps going up & down to basement & walk outside

Made a batch of my onion burgers this afternoon. Delicious…and leftovers for a few days. Betty is back to her normal bouncy self as if the "v" visit today didn't even happen. She's so silly. The shower doors were installed today and look great. Gotta way for the epoxy to dry before I can try it out, but will do so this weekend.
Everyone must be relaxing tonight…no posts. Just wanted to pop in and say hi. Getting ready to watch a movie. Thinking about the new group challenge to start on Sunday…not sure which direction I'm going in this week…any thoughts? Anyone need help in a specific area? Speak up…

It just dawned on me that it is Friday and I did not weigh in. I had an agenda today completely spaced it. My dad has mentioned quite a few times that he was I. A funk and embarrassed about his house. I used to help him deep clean once or twice a year, but have not the past few years because he has a friend move in who needed somewhere to live, and a figued 2 people could handle it. Well, his friend finally moved out, and i went to his house the other day, ive been there many times, but didnt pay much attention, but that time realized how bad it has gotten and realized i needed to help. So I spent the past 2 days cleaning my dad's house, going through cupboards, scrupping them, replacing the shelving paper, cleaning and sanitizing everything. Its not even close to being done, but it is getting back to being livable again. I will weigh in tomorrow.

@angmarie28 I applaud you for taking care of your Dad…we've all been there in one way or another. I would recommend looking into a person to do a monthly cleaning or bi-weekly cleaning for him, monitor them the first few times to make sure you can trust them, check out their reviews, references…it's really not that expensive ($100-$150 monthly, not sure of rate for bi-weekly) and save yourself the added stress trying to schedule that all the time. Most of them have a list of what they do and don't do and of course, you can negotiate that if you need something done that's "extra"…like cleaning out the refrigerator or cleaning the oven. For me, they vacuum, dust, mop, clean the bathrooms, clean the microwave, clean countertops, stove top and do some light organization. Takes them about 2-2.5 hours.
I have someone come once a month and it's the best gift I could give myself…and it's very easy to maintain in between visits.
I've seen posts you've made about your schedule and I understand how something "extra" is just too much at times. Hope you find someone.

It was all going so well and then I got the flu 🤧 So overall I’m very pleased I didn’t put on any weight and I’m hoping to do the same in the coming week!

➖This Month’s SW: 148.5📓For Nov: ~ final week ended TOM! Such a great feeling. I’m 15 lbs to my final weight loss goal of 130.. switched gyms for YMCA group classes. So far I’ve attended: Zumba, Body Pump; Body Combat and Yoga. Also!! Big news this month… I helped my daughter’s boyfriend pick out an engagement ring! Here we go!
