Day off and no dog training, but have lots to do.

Deadline is noon today for offers. We know we have at least one.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

Lee, I'm sure it will feel good to have the house settled. Then your plans can move forward quickly.

Sam, good news regarding Joanne. Still praying she heals quickly.

Connie's doctor called last night. She wants Connie on 600mg Ibuprofen per day to help with heart. Connie has her contrast dye CT next Thursday, and then she sees the cardiologist on 12/4, unless she can get in earlier. Her doctor said for Connie to ask to be put on a waiting list for cancelled appointment. I try not to worry, but that seems to bring a little more urgency to this. We are supposed to try to cut her sodium even more. The CKD is important, as is the diabetes, but the heart trumps all of that. Connie appears to be falling apart some, and I try not to worry, but I do.

We are in a high aches and pains weather pattern through Sunday. Yes, I feel it in my joints a lot.

It seems that I am full of cheery news this morning.

    Have a great day!

Sorry to hear about Connie's situation. Sounds scary, but fortunate they even found the heart thing when they weren't looking for it. Let's hope things resolve okay.

Lee, your pups will miss the old homestead, but will be a great new world for you and them. Never been to Colorado, but I imagine it will be glorious to live there.

I am half considering moving to N. Maine, but would like to be able to keep my place here as well if the wallet permits. Still figuring this all out.

Paddled the Ware R. yesterday, chilly and cloudy weather. Got on the water at 10 and it was 5 before we finished. Lots of trees down and beaver dams and places we scraped bottom. I had checked the water level gauges and thought it would be okay, but next time will look for more water. I still love the adventure and challenge of this kind of thing. Any day we finish a river trip without swimming is a success…

Piano students going today to visit our old teacher in the rehab home; he's recovering from a brain injury last winter.

    Onward and downward…

    Good morning gentlemen.

Sounds like a very challenging period for you and Connie, Steve. Praying for you.

Stormy day, yesterday. The downpour washed a lot of leaves onto the storm drain in front of our house. It backed up enough to cover the road. I had to go out in the deluge to rake the leaves out. Had quite a whirlpool for a bit until the pond drained. I did get a thumbs up from a passing school bus driver.

Have an appointment this afternoon at the eye clinic for routine testing. It's preparation for my meeting next week with my glaucoma doc.

    Good Afternoon,

Arthur does not like cold and damp, prayers for Connie and getting into cardiologist earlier.

Moving to northern Maine would be adventure, wonder how long before it gets old?

Hope you have a great offer Lee that works with your timeline.

Prayers for Bob and his testing, also for Dave's upcoming glaucoma appointment.

    Good Morning

I think the not knowing in medical situations can be brutally hard. My heart goes out to Connie and Steve. But I am thankful the Drs have discovered this and have a sense of urgency to get it sorted and treated. May God's presence & peace encircle them both.

Good Luck Lee on the offers. May the $$ and the timing all fall into place for your journey to the Rockies.

I was under the weather yesterday and dragged around. The weather was nasty so it was easy to stay in and rest. The morning windstorms worked over the yard quite a bit and had fun with the trash cans waiting to be picked up, and afternoon thunderstorms were certainly impressive. I conked out at 8pm which meant I woke around 3am wide awake. Always fun when that happens. We will brave the weather and head to the grocery store since the cupboard needs to be restocked a bit. Today shouldn't be as intense and hopefully I am on the rebound.

Steve good luck with Connie's cardiopulmonary effusion. Lots of prayers headed her way with all the tests and more.

Good luck w your glaucoma Doc Dave. My old glaucoma (not in years) Doc has up and left to work in Vancouver WA across the border. My old external eye cancer and disease Doc left to go work for Kaiser so we are doing what we can.

Bill: we missed out on most of the theatrics weather wise just some gusty wind and rain bouts but not as much as the Oregon Coast for sure.

Sounds like a nice adventure paddling Mike albeit with portage. Glad students are visiting the Piano Teacher today. A welcome sight for him I think.

Praying for all to get better
