Uneventful travel day. Car started right up. But ended up driving in rush hour traffic. Then a late dinner before stopping for the night somewhere in Louisiana. We have about 2 more hours until we get to Covington where we are getting the windshield repaired and will spend at least one night there.

I'd like to get flu and covid shots too. I wanted to do in MX but Ron preferred here.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Nice to see your new ride, Skip. Glad you have in in the garage, finally.

Have an appointment to get the Tacoma serviced. It isn't due, but it gets free oil changes and tire rotations for the first two years, and that anniversary is coming up in three weeks. Might as well squeeze out all the free stuff I can.

    Good morning BBB Friends.

    • Welcome home, well at least your home country, Steph.

    • Free oil changes are good.

Those spotted puppies in CT are adorable!!

Hope youe sister has good news, Kelly.

Prays for Sams dmil and dw vontinue. Adding Skips dm to the prayer list too.

Speaking of oil changes, I need one, and new tires. Costco quoted Michelin All weather defenders just under $1k. Ouch. I may wait a bit and shop around getting closer to black Fri.

I have Coopers on the Escape now, and 65k+miles out of them over 6yrs ago.

Im on a rest, sitting in my garage, break from garden cut back chores. My roses drew blood, guess I should have my suede gloves on.

60F and temps dropping tomorrow & possible flurries early Sunday 4a.m let's hope not. Too many leaves to clean up and drop yet. Midwest is beautiful in Oct but fall clean up can be chilly.

I best get at it. Getting dark quick!

    Have a great evening BBB!

Ouch, Mary. Tires have gotten expensive. I remember buying tires for the first car I drove (1951 Plymouth) for $12 each. Of course, they were cotton bias ply tires that wore bald in 10K miles. 😁
