Wow. That's a lotta moola for flu and covid vaccines. Well, at least you are in Louisiana. I find the culture there fascinating.
Septic and well inspections tomorrow. We were able to price our house to sell because we owe very little on the mortgage. Hate that you are having to drop the price on your house, Skip.
Nice score on the bourbon. I got a few bottles of some nice bourbon and scotch at my going away dinner the other day, but nothing that nice. The warmth and friendship that I felt for all who attended, though, was priceless.
Amazing difference in price between made in China and made in Florida, Mary. I understand that inflation is involved with the time difference, but I don't think it is responsible for the more than 100% increase.

Thank you to our veterans today for your service and sacrifices for our nation. Well, every day.
A bottle like that is the display piece. Open it for a carefully measured birthday pour or retirement kind of thing. Skip - I'm happy to help you with your shopping list for your friend. There's lots of great non-Pappy stuff that they'd likely have on offer.
Aside from time, there's also the $4 an hour labor in Asia vs a livable wage in the US. We need to bring back a respectable level of manufacturing domestically. We'll never bring it all back, but you need the ability to mount a war effort or weather an embargo if it ever came to that.

Good morning
Thanks to all the vets in the group.
Our Last day in Louisiana. Today we will go to AAA and renew our international DL. It's walkable from our hotel but it's 30 out so I bet we drive. Not exactly sure where we are heading next. Our plan is to drive towards gulf shores AL and keep going until we feel like stopping. We have plan to stay with friends near Tampa on Thursday
Yesterday we toured an off shore drilling rig museum. Super interesting and way better than the one in Galveston.

Going to go look for a new concealed holster. THe one I've been using has seen better days and Cabella's is having a helluva sale on ammo too. So good reason to kill two birds with one stone.
Likely hitting the brewery this afternoon w/ friends to raise a pint.

This Veterans' Day photo was taken when I visited my granddaughter's first grade class. She is in middle school, now. Still, I like that I can still fit into my uniforms, 25 years after I retired. That wasn't always the case.

I applaud your ability to still wear your BDUs……. I think I'd still fit in mine…..all my uniforms were lost in the 2016 house fire.

My waist was 15" smaller back then, do not want to be that small again but 6-8" less would be nice.
Took DW to appointment in Athens and we both forget to pick up her prescription from UCBC. If it was not so cold could take convertible or Toad back, to me 40's is too cold for open air. Glad it will be warmer for Dennis tomorrow.

The Packers OL didnt show up for play last night! I lasted til half time then turned it off, went to bed.
I need to donate all my too big clothes and rearrange my closet choices. Im drowning in most my clothes that I wore the last few years.
We over paid for our house in 2018 imo. $13K over asking. But this was the home for us. Glad we got it! The realtor says we could sell now for $175k more than we paid then. Nice! Don't matter, we aren't moving lol.yet.
