    Good morning from Crystal River FL. We were planning to go further but I saw a sign for a distillery so we decided to stop for the evening. Today we have a short drive to our friends. They are the ones we stayed with when Ron was sick a few years ago.

    We should stop to see Ron's dad but he doesn't want to so I guess we won't.

    Good morning BBB Friends.

    • Motorbike ride was good yesterday. Having all the right gear pays off in cold weather and the bike is serviced.
    • Crystal River is a nice spot. Make some time to see the manatees.
    • Volunteering to serve on the HOA board is not for the meek. DW is going to be the Treasurer for our Villa Assoc. again this year.
    • Headed to GA Military College today to present some scholarships. GMC is a prep school for the military academies.

    Good morning BBB friends.

    Way back in the day, when I served as HOA VP, when people didn't pay their fees we sent a letter, then placed a lien on the house and started charging interest. Our interest charges were higher than what the HOA was getting on our savings accounts, so we always came out ahead. Owners couldn't sell the property until the lien was cleared up.

    Spent half the day, yesterday, sorting and pricing stuff for Saturday's bazaar. Man, there is a lot of stuff.

    Good morning

    Our HOA has a lein procedure clause for non payers as well. But I have a real paying job and don't need to waste my time going thru the lein process. It's $150 and hasn't had a rate increase since 2019. If you can't afford $150 then at least reach out and let us know whats going on. Maybe they need other help? Or maybe they are just irresponsible and forgot to sent payment?

    Temps today beginning to climb upwards a bit. Should be in the 60s for Saturday's Christmas parade!

    Ds1 landed in Madrid for the W game this weekend. Hope he has a great time!

    Good afternoon.

    Since it's nearly 60 out, I guess I'll wash the windows here.

    Two idiots entered the back of our property, coming thru the gate at 11:02, to mark a cable which is NOT an easement. Really really ticks me off. Ruby lost her mind. I got home around 12:15 to find Henry hiding upstairs. I knew something was up. then, saw the flags. Replayed video. They're VERY lucky ruby didn't bite them. morons.

    but love my job.

    got to offer a contract to another former colleague. Alas, I've been fortunate to bring in five former feds that i've worked with/respect. LOVE this company!

    Showings tomorrow. Decided against an OH this weekend. too many weeks in a row and just want to chill out unless a scheduled showing erupts.
