Exercise during taper week?

I'm curious. My first marathon is next Sunday. This week we are on taper with what seems like no training at all.
I understand the program and will run only what is scheduled.
But, what about doing weights?
As long as I avoid doing any leg work. Is it okay to keep busy by doing a couple of sets of chest/arms/back? (Nothing to hard! Just some time keeping busy)

Nothing for the legs, obviously, but you can do some light upper body work. I wouldn't hit it too hard though. You'll be surprised at how sore your arms are after swinging them for 26.2 miles.0

Just follow the plan. They call it taper madness for a reason. It sucks, but it is a necessary evil.0

That sounds like a good plan. To add to what carson said, be careful working the abs too hard as well; they get a lot of work during a race!0
