Just 10 lbs!

Hello -
I have just joined the group - I've never been a part of anything like this (I'm not a big Facebook Fan) - but would like to be able to get some support (and information) on this quest to lose 10 lbs. That may not sound like much - but since I've been actively trying for about a month (consciously eating less, drinking less beer, and really bumping up my exercise) and have only suceeded in gaining about 2 lbs! What's up with that? I am a 56 year old female, weigh 143 and if I can get back down to 133 - that will be fine with me. IF. I come from a family where most everyone is pretty small - so I'm not quite sure what is going on? I do have a desk job - but have had the same job for the past 7 years. I didn't up my eating all of a sudden to put the weight on - so I've just been blaming it on menopause?? Anyway - it's got to go! Anyone feeling me? Just jump on in and tell me what you think!
