Day Nine

Hi friends! Again reporting from my phone I fired up my laptop last night and I'm pretty sure it's on it's last leg. It sounded like it may explode haha. So for the sake of saving it until I graduate in the spring, I'm only using it sparingly. So my travel foods went pretty well yesterday. Was a little over but really not too terrible for the choices. Italian food=weakness. Breads and pastas, oh my! Didn't get my favorite (stuffed shells) as I'm sure they would've been worse for me. For those that aren't my friend yet on here, I'll update you all with today's progress. The ladies at the terminal I'm working at this week are taking me out for happy hour. They said its buy one burger, get one free. Plus discounts on beers! Right up my alley. I are lighter and am planning on enjoying myself (still in moderation of course)! This trip has gone way better than the last due to preparation. What about the rest of you? How are you all doing with your goals? I've heard from some of you, but we've got 64 members so start speaking up friends

:::COUGH COUGH:::
I'm doing just swell....recovering from a little boob sweat that I got when I was on my lunchtime walk. Looking foward to my run tonight, then painting a bedroom in our home. Oh, and making dinner while my hubby sits on the couch as I bring him beer and dinner so that he can stay focused on his new video game (which I surprised him with by pre-ordering/purchasing for him). That's my day! xo0 -

Haha I love it. Sounds like you're having a fantastic day! Burn you some calories delivering beer so you can join him0 -
Headed to running club now. We are doing tests tonight to see where our strength zone and burning zones are! Only week 2 for me so nervous as to how this will go but looking forward to getting my sweat on! haha0

DOing pretty good here. Went just slightly over on both cals and sodium yesterday, but TOM is here so I am not surprised. Today I actually did some yard work, so I burned some cals that way. I really need to do my yoga.
Sounds like you did great and that you are becoming more able to prepare for your working travels. Not always easy, that is for sure! I just always hope for the best really, especially when traveling long distance as I can only eat so many Kind bars, lol:)0 -

Good job everyone.....love the progress. Today went pretty good. Probably didn't eat quite enough was a little under goal, and it is about time to stop eating for the night...that seems to ward off the evening binges. I went to a seminar today and lunch was provided so it threw my day into a tailspin as I try to eat every 3 hours to keep everything in balance, and that is sometimes harder than it sounds. I am happy to say though that now that we are into week two I am not craving the carbs, the headaches from Mt. Dew withdrawls are gone (don't laugh its real), and I am enjoying our nightly venture out. I am sure the dogs are enjoying it more, but I look forward to it as well. Thanks again for updating regularly, it keeps me motivated and helps to keep me accountable!!!!0

I believe you on the Dew withdrawals. Tried to quit coffee once, couldn't bear the pain (literally) after almost 2 weeks. Haven't tried since.0 -
Hi everyone,
I'm doing pretty well this week. I'm sticking to my goal of working out 5 times a week, and that's pretty stellar for me. I'm also setting aside time to plan dinners for the week so I don't take the easy way out (read: take out pizza and fast food).
I also wore some jeans that I bought 12 pounds ago and they're getting pretty loose! Time to retire them to the Goodwill bag.
Keep up the good work everyone!0
