Well Diehards - how did your first week of the fall challenge go? Was the scale kind to you this morning? Did you achieve the fitness goals you set for yourself?

    Down again: 157.4 today.
I am meeting my challenges: 8-10 glasses of water per day, strength training 2-3 times per week (incorporated with cardio), and working out strong.

I met my goal for my anniversary tomorrow so I'm extra happy.
I am also approaching my original mfp goal. I'll have to see how I feel when I get there and re-assess.

    Hope everyone is feeling well.
Remember to keep it slow and steady. Binging, starving, and all the bad habits that got us to where we were have to go away. If the scale is not about to split apart in pieces anymore, that's great. BUT we have to change our old habits of emotional eating, couch potato depression, etc. Otherwise we will regress to the way we were.

I'm down .4 lbs this week. It's TOM so I'm happy with that number. Next week should be a good number for me!

I've been concentrating on adding more jogging into my workouts, but haven't been spending as much time on strength training. Trying to find a balance of the two and not spend all of my time working out!

Congrats cindylu1962 and abikinibyjuly on your losses!

I weighed in yesterday morning and am down 2.1 pounds for the week. This was my first full week back to my normal gym schedule (after it was closed for remodeling) and it was nice to be back to my normal routine.

I set what I now realize was a rather lofty goal of 10 hours of exercise a week. I didn't make it - I only did 8-1/2. I usually do 30 minute walks every day on my lunch break and was only able to get out once this week because we were so busy at the office. Also this summer I have been running 2 mornings during the week, then did separate cardio those nights before my trainer sessions, but because it's so dark out in the morning my run has become my warm-up cardio.

Having said all that I took the day off from everything. It was my planned rest day and I didn't log most of my food. We ordered in lunch at work and then I went to my co-worker & his wife's house for dinner after work. Back to it tomorrow.
