JONAH FLEES GOD'S CALL
Jonah 1:1-3 Please read it to get involved in the scripture.
Jonah flat out didn't want this job! So he got on the next boat sailing. The disturbance in the ship was too much for the passengers except Jonah who went to sleep. They asked why he was sleeping. Jonah did not pray for the safety of the ship because he knew he was causing all of it on them.
PRAYER----Lord, I know that finally Jonah responded in faith. Help me to take responsibility for the areas You're ready to work on in my life.

I love this story - we had it in our 4th - 6th grade Sunday School class study a few weeks ago. It is amazing how many of us are true 'Jonahs' but simply NOT doing what God has planned for us.
