Sounds like a fun race! Let us know how it goes!
I cant make it this year as I am running the TC Marathon a few weeks prior and will be cutting back on my running for a little while afterwards0 -
Ill be doing the Half - did it last year too. No real time goal in mind, I want to finish stronger this year than last year. This will be my Second Half and then Ill be doing the half at the Mustache run in Minneapolis on Nov. 30th too. I am thinking i might actually set a goal other than finishing for that one.0

I will be, probably only the 5k on Saturday though. Then I'll be volunteering at one of the water stations again. Last year the group I was with was at the first station. That was absolute chaos!0

The Moustache Run (5k) was my first ever race last year! I am tempted to go back as I had a lot of fun the first time0 -
I believe today is the last day to signup. I haven't yet. I'm going to run later today and see how that goes. I haven't ran much lately since starting Insanity.0

GL to everyone running one of the races this weekend. I am doing the 5k tomorrow and mini-me is doing the kids k. I will then be a course marshal for the marathon on Sunday.0

Finished the half with a PR... Which doesn't take much but rather proud of that 2:47 time!0

Way to go! I was working at mile 9 of the half, making sure runners got across the street safely from traffic. :-)0

Congrats on your PR!
I am thinking about signing up for the Mankato Marathon next year! Looks like a fun race0 -
The course is pretty decent, especially the second half. The final stretch is pretty solid too. Lot's of spectators. If it's windy, the first half can suck though. Not that I've run it of course, but I've worked it the past two years and ran the 5k part this year. A lot of open country early on, then it gets down in to the river valley and you're pretty protected, and it's a lot of nice views on the way.0
