Breakfast Dilema

So the dark nights are nearing and i promised myself i would start swimming again in the morning. The new place doesnt actually have a open cafe at that time in the morning (unlike the old pool :( ) So what would you recomend thats easy enough to put together in about 5-10mins in the morning with one eye closed, 3/4 asleep and cat wanting attention.

Im usually a egg and spinach for breaky normally but thats out of the question on swim days due to the time. I was thinking about making up a slim fast, but i get the nagging feeling i will be hungry again 30mins later.

(bread, cornflakes and massive amount of carbs is not something i would want to do)

  • I have overnight oats. I mix together oats, plain Greek yoghurt, water, linseeds, blueberries and protein powder into a jar, screw the lid on and keep in the fridge overnight then I just scoop it into a bowl in the morning and add a chopped up banana. Really easy, healthy, filling and tastes good. Google overnight oats for recipe ideas, they're delicious!

If you don't want loads of carbs, Greek yoghurt mixed with protein powder for sweetness with mixed berries is a good option.
