I am staying in tonight since I am sick :(

Tomorrow I am going with my mothers (yes, I have 2--mom and stepmom-they are best friends) and my aunts/cousins for a girls night out celebrating my mom's bday-dinner and casino, and then Sunday hoping for a lazy day to get some cleaning done, and rest to feel better!!!
  • College Football game tonight with friends, half marathon training tomorrow and sunday, and football on sunday!

Catching up on some sleep, finish unpacking my apartment and conducting the church choir on Sunday. Pretty boring, but considering that I've been out for the past four weekends in a row, I figure I should settle down a bit :))

Breaking Bad, Breaking Bad and more Breaking Bad. Bf and I are determined to catch up in order to watch the series finale with the rest of the world. We are on season 5. So we are doing a marathon tonight, and tomorrow. Tomorrow is work out, BB, and dinner with my family for a couple of birthdays. Bf will be meeting parents. First guy I bring home since my divorce.
Sunday is fun day/ wine day. Football, pizza, and then BREAKING BAD!! I'm so excited!!

No major plans. Gym and a run tomorrow. Some football and running some errands.

Friday evening: Went and saw a performance of an old Jack The Ripper theater production, complete with tons of fake blood, topless women, and spooky glow in the dark ghosts
Saturday: Second date with really cool girl - Australian mathematics PhD
Sunday: Date with other girl I have been seeing, also really cool but wondering if the sparks just aren't there
Monday: Off to NC for work

    Enjoy, everyone!

Update: Actually, I'm not sure if tonight is a date or not. She messaged me first on a dating site, and we explored a neighborhood a bit, walking my dog (she usually comes on my first "meet-ups"). Got along well. However, her first message to me said:
    ---
"well you certainly have a sweet dog!
I must concede that I'm not totally sold on this online 'dating' thing- i think it's a pretty tough gig - but it's always exciting to meet people to eat vegan food with, so maybe we can do that sometime if you're interested?

what exactly do you do in silicon valley? "
    ---
Cryptic. One way or another, I'm turning it into a date. :)

Where in NC are you heading? And yes that sounds like an opening for a date.
  • Spend most of Friday at the orthopedic's with my daughter. She dislocated her elbow last week and this was her follow-up for the emergency closed reduction they did last Friday night. Then I dropped her off at her dad's for the weekend and proceeded to some retail therapy (aka bought some new jeans). lol
Saturday started as a rough day. My ex bf came and picked up all his stuff. Not to officially be living together, he sure had alot of stuff at my house. lol He had his car full of stuff and used my pickup to haul the bicycles, tools and all the garage stuff he had in my garage. He fixed a couple things around the house for me to while he was there. Damn that makes it hard when they are still nice. Glad we can still be that way though since we both agree that although we really care for it other it's just not meant to be (too many other things in the way).
Later Saturday I met up with a few friends at a local winery for dinner, Sangrias and some music. Later we moved on to a local bar for few drinks and ran into some more old friends. All in all a good evening.
Sunday I slept in then did some laundry, cleaned a little house, took a nap, went for a car ride to think and waited for my daughter to come back from her dad's. After she got home, we had dinner and relaxed until it was time for her to get ready for bed. Then I started studying for my certification for work. Test is in a week and a half and just got up the motivation to start studying. Gonna have to really kick some *kitten* with the studying between now and the 10th. lol

I fly in to CLT and then head up north near Hickory and Maiden. Do you know the area?

I spend about 90% of my time in Charlotte, only sleep in SC. Hickory I drive through to go hiking. Maiden is pretty much a straight shot and hour north of where I live (had to look it up on a map). So really you are in my playground.
