Scripture And Encouragement For Today
Good morning.
Have you ever thought about where you actually put your trust? What you truly trust in or WHO you truly trust for your love, protection, salvation, health, finances or whatever it is you need trust for?
It isn’t easy to always do because we believe and trust that things will happen as we pray for them and they don’t always turn out that way.
Don't put your trust in the things of this world. Instead, put your trust in GOD
Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)
10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Psalm 20:6-8 (KJV)
6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
Psalm 118:23-28 (KJV)
23 This is the LORD's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Hello Zee, I want you to know that your posts/devotions, are helping me greatly, and I have no doubt the Lord is directing you. Everything I am reading is coming from the Lord, everything I choose to read, He is using, let's put it that way. I do not believe in accidents or coincidence. Not when it comes to my communication with God. I have prayed, and asked His direction in something that has weighed so heavy on me, and He has answered. Now to obey.
It's a very, big step so any prayers are so welcome. Basically, what I believe I am to do is to be willing to give up any comfort I have in my surroundings, as well as trust I have put in finances. Basically, all I see is that He is leading me from trusting in anything of this world, and leading me to put all my trust in Him. I can obey or not, but not obeying is not an option for me. Please do pray for me, I am afraid, but yet, there is a sense of peace about my decision.
I know I've been vague, didn't want to go on about the whole thing. I did feel led to add this though. I may end up in a homeless shelter, but if I do, I know God wants me there, to serve Him. No matter where He sends us, we are to serve. If I give up the finances, that means no schooling, for now, and a minimum wage job. That's in God's hands to, I am actually excited at the prospect of possibly working for God serving seniors, but I will take whatever job He provides.
All I am hearing from God is to give up my fears of losing the comforts I have clung to, and step out of the boat.
