Well it's subjective, but in my opinion - no, they're not worth it.
They come packed in liquid and they're made from yam. If you're expecting normal 'noodle like qualities' you're going to be disappointed because they're rubbery and have absolutely no taste whatsoever. To get the best out of them you really need to let them cook *in* a sauce.
I used them a couple of times but in all honesty I don't think they're worth the money and effort. I'd suggest going for a good quality dried noodle such as the ones Clearspring do (wholemeal udon and the like) and just have a little less of it.0 -

Just replied to your feed Tracey as I didn't realise there was a thread, but will just post the link for the benefit of others.
Looks like the only nutritional content is a bit of fibre...
I guess it depends on what you want them for. If you want to bulk out a meal in order to feel more full then they will give you the opportunity to do that.
Personally I would never pay that money for a zero nutrients bit of food that my body gets precisely NOTHING out of. If I want to feel more full I eat fewer fast/empty carbs and more protein.0 -
