1 Corinthians 10:1-6, 8 Read it today to get this:
By reading the entire Bible we have the privilege of learning from God's dealings with men and women throughout recorded history so we will not fall into the same traps. 23,000 people fell by the sword in one day because they joined themselves with pagan gods in sexual rituals, refusing to obey the true God.
How can we stop ourselves from falling into sin? By remembering" "No temptation that has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, that you may be able to endure it" 1 Corinthians 10:13
PRAYER----Father, help me avoid temptation by taking one step closer to You.
