should i up my intake?

Think I'm going to have to up my intake on Wednesdays and Thursdays at least, if not every day. They are both heavy days at work and I struggled to keep to plan in month one of insanity, now in month two the workouts are longer/harder but the recommended intake remains the same. I've finished my diary for the day and only just had dinner and already would like a snack so little chance of making it through the evening and I'd rather have a good healthy snack that I plan rather than end up throwing the first thing that comes to hand down my neck when I can't hold out any longer. On the other hand weight loss has not been as good as I would have hoped, however I am in this for the long haul, I'm after general health and fitness improvement rather than instant results and have to think that muscle is replacing fat in addition to the loss that is showing on the scales. What to do, what to do, any suggestions?

My suggestion would be to find out your TDEE then reduce it by 15-20%. Eat this many calories daily. If you feel you need more calories on one specific day, eat them, just reduce the amount of calories eaten the next day. Do not eat back calories (if you are logging them)
