New goals check-in

I wanted to start a new thread so we could all see updates easier. So today is day 9 of the month. How are we doing 9 days in with our new goals for this month? Personally, I think I'm doing pretty decent. I've definitely had some cheat days already, but I'm learning not to let them completely derail me like they used to. Where one bad day would've turned into a whole week of it, I'm not going to continue to do that. And I think with my Saturday morning weigh-ins, it'll help me out a lot too. Also, really like this picture because I'm finding it to be super true to my life!

I'm doing great with my goal of completing Insanity  I will be on day 5 tonight, and I actually can't wait til I can go home to do it. And I love, love, LOVE working out with my HRM. In the past I have had high blood pressure and high cholesterol, so being able to know when I need to dial it back a bit is a huge help.

Still working on swapping out packaged meals for made-from-scratch meals. Me ex did all the cooking, and my kids are crazy picky, so I'm struggling to learn to cook (so embarrassing), as well as make meals all 3 of us will eat. It's a work in progress!

I hope everyone is doing wonderfully! :flowerforyou:

This week has been a STRUGGLE. Food everywhere, everyday at work this week. I've been just going to the basement common area to eat (I work on the 9th floor of a 10fl building) to get away from the general public. Today was THE WORST with FRESH COOKIES baking within feet of me, and pastries/baked goods galore. BUT, I held off, ran when I got home (which I'll add was brutal), and had a lazy low cal dinner. Thanksgiving is only 8 weeks away.

    In short:
    Holding strong.
