Test day 6th cycle: done!

This morning it was test day again. Despite my wrist injury from last Wednesday, I managed to get everything in except SLDL and OHP. I did wear my lifting gloves with the wrist straps for some extra support and think that didn't help with the SLDL because my grip gave out prematurely. I have very small hands and usually train without the gloves, because they add extra bulk. Quit miffed about that one, because now I still don't have the 1x BW goal I set myself for the SLDL :grumble:
Anyway, here are the stats for my end of cycle 6:
Squats: 23 kg -> 30 kg (= 0.56 x BW) Pass!
Bench Press: 13 kg -> 20 kg Pass!
Bent-Over Rows: 17 kg -> 25 kg Pass!
Overhead Shoulder Press: 12 kg -> 16 kg Fail
Stiff-Legged Deadlifts: 30 kg -> 50 kg (= 0.93 x BW) Fail
Curls: 13 kg -> 15 kg Pass!
I've been running All Pro's SBR since the beginning of March and must say that I'm getting a bit bored with the same workout day in day out. Also, as some of you know I recently started my first bulk. This combined with the fact that I don't feel like I workout "hard" has made me decide to move on to an intermediate routine to make the most of the potential gains.
I'll be doing All Pro's Intermediate 1 for 2 or 3 cycles, probably followed by some cycles of All Pro's Intermediate 2, the All Pro Split. :bigsmile: Yup! All Pro posted 4 intermediate programs (here: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=135025731&page=1) to cycle through, before he dissappeared from the radar. API 1 has 2 workouts per week, to which you can add a third abs & cardio workout, which is what I'll be going to do.
Anyway, I'll still be around because I don't want to mis reading about your progress. :flowerforyou:

Nice work, pandorakick
I'd forgotten about his intermediate programs...I'll have to take a look; maybe during a bulk would be a good time to step my game up a bit too, perhaps next cycle?
You'll have to let us know what you think of it once you get started!0 -
Nicely done! And while it is certainly disappointing to fail on any of the exercises, look at how much you have progressed! Great to know you'll still be around, and look forward to hearing how your new routine is going.0

Congrats on all the progress you've made! I hope this new routine helps you achieve your goals and I'm glad you will still be around here.0

Thank you! :flowerforyou:0

Hey well done on completing 6 cycles, that is pretty impressive!I'll be doing All Pro's Intermediate 1 for 2 or 3 cycles, probably followed by some cycles of All Pro's Intermediate 2, the All Pro Split. :bigsmile: Yup! Interesting to know this that there are other programs he has created, I will have to check them out as it might be a good option at some stage down the fitness road.
Maybe you could rename the group "All Pro's Beginner or Intermediate Weight Lifting Routines"0 -
After 6 cycles, it can get samey... I moved on because it was starting to crush me and could see impending disaster at hand with a baby on the way!
I'd probably still be doing it now if life hadn't switched things up on me
Congrats on a great run, and keep me posted on the intermediates - I always fancied taking a crack at the 636 myself!0 -

I'm game for this! It makes sense that many people who join this group will also move on to do the intermediate programs...0 -
Okidoki, will make some changes :happy:0

Great test day, Pandora, goodonyer!
and thanks for adding the intermediate workouts = it's good to have another set of goals beyond the SBR0
