Why aren't my old pants fitting? Insanity question.

I finish the full 60 days of insanity Sunday. I'm .8lbs away from 10lbs lost. I've lost 4" from my waist, 2" from my hips, and 3" from my thighs. Which I'm thrilled about. I've taken pictures to compare before and after. I've made absolutely certain I am measuring in the same location. My shirts are all fitting great. But I'm still in my fat pants. What gives?

I've also lost 2 inches around my hips, 3 in my waist and almost 17 lbs (some before joining MFP) and I only JUST started fitting into a size lower in pants. It was also extra frustrating because when I was only 10 lbs lighter and DIDN'T workout, I was in the lower size! But exercise, toning, muscles, and all that jazz are just funny that way. If only I could tell my body to lose weight in my butt, I'd be golden. But our bodies are going to lose fat the way it wants. I lost it in strange places. Like my neck and hands instead of my gut and arms like I wanted. It's frustrating as all hell, but it's just one of those things that you have to brush off. There have actually been quite a few threads about this subject, so it's not just you and I! Some people have lost over 20 lbs without going down a size. You just have to tell yourself that as long as you're still losing weight and inches, you're going in the right direction. 60 days even with something like Insanity is still a very short period of time. It'll happen.
