Wk14Oct-20Oct Training Progress

I did wk3d1 yesterday (a day after my first Les Mills Pump attempt) and mission wise I feel like I failed. I could not run the entire 1minute in the drills I managed 45seconds at most, I did all my heel lifts and because I didn't really run in any of the free form runs (other than the 5 minute one in the beginning) I didn't take the 2min break to stretch, I just kept walking.

But... 2 Achievements for that run
1- Did my Fastest 1km so far 9:07 (I'm amused by this since I thought that the stopping and doing heel lifts would actually decrease the times, but so far every mission my 2nd km is the fastest and that is the one with the drills)
2- Did 4km for the first time in a mission

I am going to keep going with Week3, but if I haven't been able to succesfully complete the drills by wk3d3, I will repeat to make sure I can do the 1min runs at least.
How are you doing?

Great work, Qski! You're making progress!

I had no gas in the tank today: Week 5 Day 1. The zombies would have surely eaten my brains if I weren't inside Abel's fences! Could only manage about 30-45 seconds for each of the training runs and totally walked (not even fast) on all of the free forms. I'll definitely be repeating this one on Thursday!

I know what you mean now about some days just being icky compared to others...
Today I didn't feel to bad, but didn't do much better than wk3d1 - This week will definitely be a repeat for me, but I do want to do wk3d3 next for the story :D Then I will repeat the 3 missions.

    I liked the humour in Wk3d2 :)
I got up to 45 seconds in each drill this time but still didn't make the 1 minute, so I think that if I try to do the 45 seconds again next one, then when I repeat step it up to the 1 minute run.

I am still getting very excited about obvious progresses which is really nice. When I am on my home stretch, I love walking passed the corner where I exited back on to the home stretch in week 1 - because I know I have done so much further now. I also get quite a kick out of sitting on the bus and going passed the street that I turn down because a few weeks ago I would not even considered getting off the bus near there, because that would just be too far.... and now I can smile to myself because I know it's not that far.

Hope you are doing well Vaugirard15 and that your next mission goes well!

Great work, Qski! Seeing the progress is very motivating, isn't it?

I wasn't able to go out on Thursday-- still very tired. So I swapped my usual long Saturday walk (1 hour-- which, ironically enough, is how long my Zombie workouts are now) with my Zombie run. Instead I ran today, repeating Week 5 Workout 1. Much better-- ran 4 minutes in the first free-form run then managed to run the full minute for 5 of the 8 drills and about 45-50 seconds on 3 of them. Was pretty happy with that after how tired I've been all week. Couldn't run at all for the last two 10 minute free-forms but instead walked home from the park (about 2.5 km).

I just love the story-- even when I'm listening to a repeat. Reminds me of when I was little. My parents had a reel-to-reel tape for us kids that had all of these fairy tales on it. We loved to lay down on the rug and listen to the stories; we knew lots of them by heart but it was fun imagining what things looked like. Zombies are kind of the same way! :-)

Hope you have a great weekend!
