How do you keep under the MFP allotments for your diet?

How important do you feel the MFP food allotments are to your general health?

I'm talking about the
Calories Carbs Fat Protein Sodium Sugar breakdown of the food.

I know I consistently go over the allotments that MFP generates for me. I have not made a commitment yet to stay within the allotment and I believe that it would take serious planning on my part to do so.

How is a young mother to do it with the other demands on her time?

    Make a chart of 5-8 different food combinations that will get you near your goal and just repeat those over and over again.

    I generally try just to focus on Calories, Carbs, Fiber, and Protein. It is really hard to try to balance all of this stuff because there are healthy fats that can put you over on your fats, or similarly to carbs/fiber. I try to eat quality food. For example, I try to eat quinoa vs white rice. Quinoa also helps target multiple groups. I guess I try to eat multitasker foods, but I always try to eat more protein then MFP recommended amount, but I tend to lose more weight with a higher protein diet.
