New to group

My name is Suzanne. I'll be 50 in one month. My goal is to lose 10 pounds. (I'm 5'2" 129 pounds). I've been struggling with this weight for about 5 years up and down but lately, it is not budging. I joined MFP in hopes that keeping track of my exercise and food will help me lose. I feel like I exercise and eat right but the few "slip ups" A week are adding up and are not as forgiving on my hips as they used to . I'm a nurse and work night shift which has attributed to some of my weight gain. I'm hoping that through sharing my journey and seeing others achieve their goals, I will be motived and able to achieve mine. ( I joined in March but have just started the plan.. I'll be 50 and hopefully 8 pounds lighter on nov 20th)
