Since some have asked about this...the articles are saying that it's going to be about a group of people unconnected to the original series or comics, so they aren't tied to any back stories & the writers can take it where they want. Whether they stick to that remains to be seen. They also said it'll probably start up in 2014.

    Sound like it will be something like what they did with the Lee Everett story line from the Telltale Games Walking Dead video game. If the story line for the new show is as good as that one, then we'll be in for a treat.

    I can see it now, it'll be like CSI...Walking Dead: New York, Walking Dead: Los Angeles, & Walking Dead: Vegas...lol.

    Or they could do Walking Dead: America, Walking Dead: United Kingdom, etc. it would be interesting to see how the different governments, cultures, and environments would impact walkers and survivors.
