What to do about a new bra?

Hi all- first time mom here, currently at 26 weeks.
I bought 2 new bras at around 10 weeks and it is about that time again. This time around though I really don't want to waste money... for all of you who have had children before, what should I do!?
Do I invest in nursing bras now, even though I hear my breasts will only get larger? Or, should I shell out the money for one regular bra to last until I see how large they will get?
The ladies need some serious help (quadruple-boob, anyone?)!

I would try to limp along with a cheap bra in the right size and buy a proper nursing bra after the baby comes. Oh and try the nursing bra on when you're fullest. I bought some that seemed to fit until I got halfway through the next day and popped out of them.
Also, I can nurse in a regular bra unless its a full coverage or minimizer style. So if you get a perfect fitting bra and it doesn't have clips, it doesn't have to be off the table. Nursing bras were actually most useful to me for pumping.0 -
What fits at 6 months will not fit at 8/9 months. You've got lots of expanding to do yet in both your cup size and rib cage. I would say either invest in well elasticated sleep bras, which you may be able to use again in 6/9 months times or stick with maternity bras for the next three months. It's best to invest in nursing bras at the last possible minute to ensure you get them with room for the milk IMO. Good luck!0

Target has some really cheap, alright nursing bras. If you bought one that fits now, but is too small when milk comes in, you could just toss it, or keep it as a backup.
However. I learned first time around, not only does your cup size change, but also your bra preferences. I'm a kind of person who always wants underwire bra's, but when I was nursing, I just couldn't stand it, and wanted them as soft as possible.
Some people don't even want to wear bra at all..
Another reason to why you might just want to get one or two nursing bra before the baby comes, and then go to a specialist store to help you find the ideal additional bras after your milk supply has set in.0 -
I am having an AWFUL time trying to find a bra that FITS! Does anyone have suggestions for good fitting bras?
All that I try on are very tight around my rib cage. Whenever I go up in band size, it's still tight on the ribs, but gapes open at the back of the band. So frustrating. I've tried several different sizes and styles. Any advice?
Thanks so much!0 -
Go to a specialist and have them help you find the right fit! It does miracles, and is totally worth it. I learned I was wearing the totally wrong size.0

I live in sports bras while pregnant the usually are more forgiving between sizes than regular ones.....0
