Good morning (or evening depending on where you are  ) How is everyone doing?? This week, I'm sad to admit, I didn't lose anything. I'm sticking with my goals, and jotting everything down...not sure what's happening.

    Down a pound! I don't know if I'll make my goal--hitting 150 pounds--by Christmas, but I definitely think I'll be close. :-)

I'm running my first 5K tomorrow and hoping I won't be too cold. Temps are forecast to be in the high 50s, but it'll be sunny with a southeast breeze, so I think it'll feel warmer than that temperature would seem.

Well, at least I am keeping good company. I am down .1 pounds. Yes, sadly, 1 tenth of 1 pound. This in my mind equals no loss for the week. But on the bright side, I actually expected a gain, so I will leave it alone, redouble my efforts and look forward to a whopper of a loss next week (I hope!) Continuing on the bright side, I was well ahead of where I needed to be to lose my goal by the end of December, so I am still on track! Make it a GREAT week.

I'm in Maryland. I ended up running in long exercise pants, a short-sleeved tee and an Old Navy active jacket, and that worked well for me.

The 5K went really well! I ended up doing the race in 33:50. However, I did the classic mistake of running the first mile too fast and then not having much in the tank for the following two miles. But still, I would have been happy to have finished the race in under 40 minutes--so the time I ended up with was fantastic! And now I know to be more careful with that first mile. Planning to do another 5K on Thanksgiving morning before I start focusing on training for a half-marathon in April.

Awesome job!!! You're making me so jealous! Lol! Running used to be my life. I really need to get back into it, I'd like to do another marathon in late spring/early summer. :)
