Help taking whey, getting way gassey

I've been taking pre-workout shakes for a wile now. One day I did feel like I was going to puke when using my weight belt. After that I seem to be getting a lot more gassy lately. As in farting, a lot. Like 5 - 10 times a day. Its getting kind of obnoxious. I've stopped the powder for a week to see what happens. Anyone have anything like that happen?
Here are some pictures of guys lighting farts. I have yet to try it.
