Supply decreasing

I am pretty sure my supply is slowly decreasing...well I guess I know since I EP. At my peak I made around 40 ounces a day and was holding steady for a while around 30, but yesterday I only got 26. Miles eats around 25-30 and I have around 800 frozen, so I have enough to get him past a year even if I stopped right now. It's kind of bittersweet because I worked so hard to get a good supply. But honestly I do not have the time or energy to try to increase it again. I don't know if it's due to sress or exercising again?? Oh well, just wanted to vent. I'm almost kind of glad, the less I make the easier it will be to wean when I'm ready.

It might just be a random dip, but at this point I wouldn't kill myself trying to save my supply. You're so close to a year!0

It is amazing that you made it so far with pumping alone. Supply fluctuates and changes following the baby needs. Women who BF only like me, do not even have an idea how much supply they exactly have. If your baby is happy and healthy and you provide some BF that is all that matters.
My baby girl is 10 months old, and she slowly weaning herself fora while. Unless she really tired and sleepy, she refuses to BF. Of course she would gladly drink breastmilk from a sippycup if I would give it to her, but she has not patience to work for it anymore. This tells me that she doesn't need it anymore. I know a a few other babies who self weaned them-self around 1 yr of age and I can see that is happening to us too. .
Since you are pumping , you do not really have that feedback from the baby to see if he is ready or not, so you have to just do based on your gut feeling. If you look at the stats , you will be surprised how little percent of the babies get breast-milk at that age.0 -
Thanks ladies. I know he loves it out of the bottle! Around a year I'm going to try to transition to some other milk too. But it would be nice if he got some during the winter months.0

I pumped all weekend (away from my little one) and my supply was fine. Got back and pumped at work like normal, my supply was halved! I think our bodies are just a little crazy.
I really notice a difference on lower calorie days and when I don't drink enough water. Low calorie days kill my supply.
Great job on pumping for so long, Ki!!!! I totally agree with wanting breastmilk during the winter months. So many nutrients and natural antibodies!0
