It's week 3 already peeps! This is the week where I finally remember to post the link to our team's spreadsheet so that you all can fill in your information for the week. Once the challenge has been posted I will be sure to post it here too. This week I once again challenge us as a team to come up with goals for ourselves and share how we are doing with them.
My Goals:
1. Keep upping my water intake...I'm getting better but still not the greatest.
2. Keep adding in more fruits and veggies.
3. Get to the gym 4 days
4. Pack a lunch for work everyday.
What are your goals for the next week!?

Hey yellow team!
My goals for this week are:
To keep up with my perfect calories. I've had every day for the past 8, gotta keep the streak up!
I want to start doing yoga. EVERY DAMN DAY. I never do it now, and I am rarely inspired to do it, so this one is especially hard for me.
Last one is that I really need to find a better crosstrain exercise. I'm a runner but at least one day a week I do something else to build a bit of muscle. I've been doing lots of Jillian Michaels, and I love her, but I'm also so sick of her. And circuit training in general. I do not belong to a gym, but if anyone has any ideas for me that would totally rock!0 -
Yay - Week 3!
GOALS:
*I loved the deck challenge and want to do it at least 2x this week.
*Keeping up/increasing water intake.
*Get up and do a small workout before work each morning.
*I going to try to not eat out AT ALL this week - keep it fresh and keep it home.0 -
AshleyMeggg - Have you tried any Kettlebell workouts? I love them. I just have one bell and use it for everything - there are a ton of workouts online via text or video.0

Great goals! I agree with mylifemynow, kettlebells are great and relatively inexpensive (I got my 10# one at walmart for $20). Its a great calorie burner (around 20 a minute) and it tones all over. Have you tried searching the health and fitness section on Pinterest.com? I find a TON of really good workouts, motivation, recipes, etc. on there.0 -
I've tried kettlebells, but I didn't like the guy in the video. I will look into other videos though.
Also, for this weeks challenge, I don't need any of the equipment listed, all I need are my running shoes, so if anyone wants to borrow (or however that works) I have 100 crunches to give. Also, I will be doing the 5k challenge, and completing my crunches anyway.
I was wondering though, that still means that I've completed this week's challenge though, right?0 -

You can buy Ashley's crunches but you would have to do 5 additioonal crunches for each crunch you buy. That is my understanding of what soccerella had posted earlier.0 -
That is how I understand it too0

Alrighty peeps! If you had a winning bid on any of the items mentioned in the auction, Congratulations. If you didn't have a winning bid or didn't bid on anything period you can't use ANY of the items in the list. You must get creative with your workouts this week. I will be keeping track and I will be asking that you check in to our thread. For our 2 "freebie" days just let us know you used 1 or both by putting "freebie" somewhere in your post.
How are we doing on our goals this week? Any NSV's this week?
My NSV's for this week is that I've dropped almost 1% body fat since starting weight training with my trainer. I also have several pairs of workout pants that I haven't had to tie since I bought them that I now have to tie to keep up.
Goal wise, the only in I'm not doing so hot with is packing my own lunch.
***Last Chance Workout***
My trainer gave me the inspiration for this weeks LCW. It is called 30 Downs. We will have 3 Body Weight exercises and there will be 3 sets. To complete each set you must do all 30 of all 3 exercises. Here we go....
Set 1....
30 crunches
30 burpees (evil but great for toning)
30 pushups
Rest
Set 2....
20 crunches
20 burpees
20 pushups
Rest
Set 3....
10 crunches
10 burpees
10 pushups
Try to do this workout as many times as you can!0 -
GO YELLOW TEAM
My goals for this week:
1.) keep drinking 8 glasses of water each day. I have to really focus and force to drink that much. This is the second week of doing this goal.
2.) to work out at least 15 minutes every single day. So far, I walked on Wednesday for 20 minutes and yesterday I did some floor exercises (crunches, a couple push ups, jogging in place, knee lifts etc for 30 minutes total).
It looks like I won the elliptical but will have to think outside the box for the rest of my workouts this week. I will also work on the LCW.0
