I have been selected as an ambassador for the San Francisco Marathon!!! I am super excited but I am warning all of you now to be prepared for a steady stream of post about how my training for the race is going.

    Congrats! And that is awesome. I would be totally bragging if I were you. :-D. Ohh... that explains your sub 3 minute miles today?? Hahaha... j/k but a 5 minute mile for a whole mile and a half is like a 3 minute mile for me (since both are unaccomplishable for that distance) :-)

    Congrats on getting selected! SF is local for me; looking forward to hearing what you've got to say about it. It was also my first half marathon (I did the "first" half in 2012). I've also been trying to convince another MFPer to sign up for this race, so maybe this will put him over the edge.
