Sock advice please

I need some sock advice here. I have been using just a plain run of the mill dress sock for a long time. It tends to get stiff after a couple of uses and require washing. Also, it has a rougher feel, and I can feel my calluses through it.
Does anyone else have any recommendations for a sock brand that I can use that will not require as much washing, and has a softer gentler feel to it that won't chafe, and may feel more like the real thing?

go for a good, dense work sock... or something designed for winter months... but whatever you do, do NOT get the slipper socks with the grips on the bottom... worst blister ever0

Forget the sock. It's not the sock. Use higher quality lotion.0

May I recommend a rabbit fur lined leather glove? That way, you get 5 different holes to choose from, AND a warm soft outside with some nice tight, but forgiving, leather encompassing your love glove...0

knee high running sock, they're nice and thick, long enough to periodically change up positioning.0
