The big news so far are the two female front runners (and training partners) who went out to a big lead early. Did they go out too fast? Time will tell0

This women's race is exciting. The front runner is being chased down around mile 22 by a someone with the most unusual stride I have ever seen in a professional runner. Men's leaders are still in a larger pack of 8 runners at mile 190
