Daily Challenge--Friday--SWEAT!

On Tuesday you were challenged to plan some activity and work it into your day.

Words like "plan", "think", "meditate" and "consider" are used for challenges where the thoughts and ideas are of primary importance. And the reason such challenges are issued regularly is to hopefully nudge the more set and sedentary among us to new ways of approaching the problem.

NOT TODAY.

Don't think. Don't consider. Don't plan. Today you must DO SOMETHING.

For most of you, this is hardly a challenge. You have exercise logs that put mine to shame. But SOME of you...and you know who you are...still have not embraced the power of movement.

Today you have no choice. If it is too miserable outside, well you can march on the spot in front of the TV. Or run up and down the stairs or vacuum like a maniac.

BUT TODAY YOU WILL SWEAT!

I do not care what you do, or how long you do it. You just can't stop until your brow is moist and drips of sweat are stinging your eyes!

You are going to work today! You are going to put some effort into something, you are going to raise your heart rate and metabolism, and you are going to leak water from your pores.

Below you can report your choices and outcomes.

Good logging and good luck!

Wow! What a march! Hound and I up and down hills for nearly an hour. I am now drenched. Hound is having a snooze. And there are still walks to be taken today--but this morning, we got all the sunshine today is going to have on offer here!
  • i sweated today. i did 20 minutes on the elliptical! i have been working up to it all week. first 15, then 17, then 18 and today 20!!! yeah! and then i did aquacise, which would make me sweat if i wasn't in water, lol.
  • The only sweating I did was from leaving the car seat warmer on... I started my morning walk today and ended up getting dizzy and sick... I was hoping the unstable diabetes symptoms was from being sick but I am feeling like that has gone away but the other stuff hasn't... And the worst part is planning to see my doctor is spinning me in the wrong direction because she is awful :(.

But I will go so I can feel better and stay on track with everything I have worked way to hard for this

Ps I did sweat a lot yesterday :)
