I am nursing an 11 month old he doesn't nurse much through the day but nurses ALL night. I am also nursing a preschooler also a little at night and sometimes in the day. I am STARVING while counting calories. I set my calorie goal at maintenance which is 1870. I can't keep to my goals for more then a few days because I become so ravished. What should I do? Suggestions?

You should also add nursing as a food or as an exercise which will allow you 600-100 more calories per day depending on which option you pick. I would probably pick the 4-5 times a day option which is 400 calories and try that for a few weeks. If you find you gain weight, then reduce it to 200-300 extra calories a day. Feel free to look at my food diary if you don't get what I am trying to say. I am in maintenance and only nurse my 19mth old 2-3 times a day.
