My energy level is pretty good on most days. However, on some days, especially after a meal, I feel like I've been drugged.

Every day! Doesn't work though. Feel tired but can't sleep.
  • I was up at 2am for a bit and then in and out of sleep all night. I was so tempted to work from home and "work", but guilt got in the way. lol

I crawled into an empty office during the last half of my lunch break, locked the door and curled up with my sweater as a pillow. It wasn't quite enough, but I think I can make it the remaining three hours of the day.

I cannot wait for this first trimester to be over and to start having some energy, less uneasy tummy and feel more normal so I can enjoy this journey!!
  • It will get better and you will enjoy it! If it wasn't so darn cold out, I'd head out to the car at lunch. Another horrible night of sleep. :(
  • I slept through the whole night last night without having to get up to use the bathroom. I was really proud of myself. So why am I still tired? lol!
  • Now that I'm home for good, I feel like all I want to do is sleep. I go back to sleep once my daughter gets on the bus at 7:30 a.m. and I usually sleep until about 9:30. I wouldn't get up out of bed at all except my 4-year-old son needs help getting breakfast so I force myself to get up. I haven't been eating much breakfast myself lately, so I just lay on the couch watching TV until about 12. Then I give him lunch and we're down for naps by 1 or 2. And I still go to sleep by 9 p.m. each night. I figure I might as well get all the sleep I can now since I won't be sleeping much when the baby arrives :ohwell:

I am SO glad I am not the only one! I am lucky enough that my only child is gone to school during the day. She leaves at 8:30 and I go back to bed. I usually spend the entire day sleeping, feeling sick, lying on the couch, throwing up, watching TV, trying to keep something down, reading and doing lots of nothing until she gets home around 4pm.
I stay up and force myself to function from 4-8pm and help with homework, dinner or what not. When she goes to bes at 8:30 - I am back in bed again.
