This message was found in a cave in the south western USA. We believe it is from an ancestor that I am named after.

With winter coming on I have moved in this cave with my pet sabre tooth. Well hes not exactly a pet, you cant touch him if you want to keep your arm. Our body heat helps keep each other warn and he did help me kill that brontosaurus down by the mud pits. He got the tail but let me keep the rest. I call him Odin and he seems not to mind.
The bronto was a nice change from what we were eating. Funny little monster that the cat brings in. The meat tastes very sweet. We have accumulated quite a pile of blue pelts from them though. I need to make something from them someday soon. I have plenty of furs for my body but maybe a new head covering for the winter. Yes that would be nice I think.
Well if any future generations read this cave scratching you will know that I spent a winter here. Just me and Odin.
