Cellular therapy??

Today I came across a facebook post and due to having an extremely slow day at work have been doing some reading up on it. I am not scientific by any means so some of the words are fancy mumbo jumbo to me 
But has anyone heard about this? Apparently they are doing reserach right here in Pittsburgh which is where I live. I am interested to hear if anyone has heard anything about this and their thoughts! If this is real, it sounds incredible!! Here is a link to one of the articles that I read

There is a lot of experimentation on this, so there is hope. But it will be a long time before my insurance would cover this.
