Happy Thanksgiving to those of you that celebrate it, Happy Thursday to those that don't! I've had a lot going on so I didn't post last week....I've lost only 1 pound in 2 weeks, I just don't get it. Thankfully my measurements are down. This is week 14 and we only have 4 weeks left to hit our goals! I've lost 22 since this group started and have 10 more to go by Christmas, and It's looking rough :grumble: . Today, even if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, lets give thanks for everything that we have, our families, our health, our friends, and our great support system here. I am thankful for so many of you for giving support and seeing progress when I have a difficult time seeing it. :flowerforyou:
Remember today is one day...One meal. Try to make the best choices available, but also enjoy your family and all the good food we normally wouldn't eat any other day of the year. Cheers! :drinker:

This week has been crazy! I missed two days of workouts, yet ran my second 5K in freezing temps on Thanksgiving morning. I totally blew my calories on Thursday and Friday yet have already gotten back on my diet. Add in having my monthly friend arrive and I doubt I'll have lost any weight when I do weigh-in this coming Wednesday. But I have to say, having a mental and physical break was a bigger plus than I thought it would be. I feel much more reinvigorated and I'm glad that I had to take a small break. Now I'm not dreading my break in the middle of December when I'm on vacation!
I have five pounds to lose to hit my Christmas goal. I'm not sure if I can do it, with my vacation, but I'll be close enough I think. And considering that when I hit 150 I will have only 20 pounds until I reach my first goal weight, I'm still thrilled at my progress!0 -
