This weekend, I learned . . .

I can still eat too much without any sweets in my diet at all. If you would like to try this at home:

*Use cream instead of milk in coffee and tea, and drink more
*Eat lots of nuts and cheese
*Stop your exercise regime
*Sleep too much
*Increase portion sizes, with the excuse of your choice
*Have two slices of pizza for dinner at least one night
*Eat out at least once, assuming anything with "salad" in title is a sensible menu choice

Well, I lost a pound over Thanksgiving, but I came in to the office this morning ans it was a colleague's birthday and there was a box of doughnuts and I didn't even hesitate! Dammit!

Drink lots of water and work hard at the gym and be more mindful.... I can do this.
  • I do think this challenge would be easier if everyone in the country decided to abstain from sweets along with us. Is that too much to ask?

I stayed in my calories today. Was doing great until hubby handed me a piece of pecan pie. I started eating without even questioning it. :( 390 calories! And it was a small piece!

I so get the whole doughnut thing.

    Today will be better

  • Sweets should come with sirens on them, like emergency vehicles. That would also help.
