And how they fit into the workout. I have been doing it wrong and my warmup sets have been like the first three sets of my exercises. It seems like if I did them before the the workout would take much longer than the 30 minutes it has been. Help! Lol.

Also, I'm 12 sessions in. The first half of the program I did no warmups (which really didn't matter bc the weights were so light) and have been doing what I mentioned above for the second half. I obviously need some guidance lol. Thanks in advance.

I use warmupreps.com to determine my warm up sets.

For squats, I always start with the bar, no matter what, just to loosen up. For overhead press, I NEVER do as many warm up sets as the web site says. It's just too hard, and I think it wears me out. (I only OHP 60 pounds right now.)

As you progress to heavier weights, these warm up sets are more and more important, and it will lengthen your workout. I started out at about 35 minutes, and I can take more than an hour now.

My warmup sets have always been the followings:

2 sets with empty bar which is a standard bar so it's 20lbs
1 set with 40lbs (used to be two but as my weight goes up I do more warmup weight)
2 set with 60lbs ( this weight keeps going up as well)
